A Welcome: My Recommendations on how to tackle this book series

Premise: the foundation of this book series is the Lord God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); In my first conversation with God (2006), God told me that He knew of my plans to write a book to my daughters about my spiritual journey, and proceeded to tell me, “Yes, I would like for you to write that book, but it will go out to a much larger audience than your daughters, and…” He gave me the title “A Father’s Wisdom for a Lost Generation” along with an overview of why I would write the book, a generalization of what it would consist of (the bulk of which He said would be provided by the Holy Spirit’s guidance and instruction), who it would be written for and how it would benefit them; He did not mention the where and when.

Almost twenty years later, I’ve published 6 books 1600+pgs and although I could continue to write about Jesus for an eternity (i.e., the infinite nature of God, as stated by John 21:25), the Lord God has given me every indication that this book series is complete after having published Vol5. Little did I know that it would be a 20yr process and involve six books; I attempted to publish “the one book” around 2010 and God told me it was not close to being ready, and I agreed.

God did not initially explain to me the immense problem with false teachings but instead wanted me to focus first on His foundational and advanced teachings. The following is the order in which I suggest you tackle eating this gigantic feast:

• Vol5 is a short 200pg read and has a continuous theme of navigating this robust and unpredictable world that many attempt to live their lives on their own by trial and error, with the error occurring way too often and sometimes with life deadening results (and eternal life extinguishing results). Volume 5 answers a number of BIG questions all Believers have and does so in a sequential step and comprehensive manner utilizing God’s wisdom books of the Bible. It will keep all readers interested and even intrigued to get more information. Most readers will be able to grasp the information just enough to then read Vol3 A&B to pull the bulk of God’s wisdom together in order to gain knowledge, so to have practical application understandings.
• Vol 3 A&B are your need-to-know Advanced biblical teachings. Why recommend this read BEFORE the foundational teachings? It just depends on your current knowledge base. Many have had years of attending church, so the feedback I received was this Vol3 A&B was exactly what they needed. Whereas I personally like to get started at the beginning and advance from there; We learn by repetition so any redundancy from Vol1&2 does not bother me or would not curtail me from reading Vol3. But we live in a world where many people are impatient, and they want the golden nuggets today if not yesterday. I still strongly suggest that for those who start off with Vol5 and Vol3 that they read Vol1-2 because of the vast range of solid information it contains and will certainly enhance their overall understandings.
• Vol1-2 are your need-to-know Foundational biblical teachings. A first step for the babe in Christ on their spiritual journey. It’s very apparent that I was getting my feet wet with my writing style and how to approach, communicate, and teach this topic matter. God had given me the talent and prior experience of writing a company procedures manual and a sales training manual and conduct a training course, which certainly assisted me in this endeavor, but I never fathomed the magnitude of His calling to send me on this incredible journey. Regarding some of the book’s goals, I had no desire to entertain the reader (the entertainment factor is what occurs in way too many of the churches today); I did although want it to be relatable and it be an interesting read. Vol1-2 has my conversion testimony; my personal historical background; my conversations with God; interesting anecdotal stories to coincide with the teachings; but I realized the Living Bible is relatable on its own merit and its amazingly interesting on its own merit, therefore, all of the remaining volumes have a distinctly different writing style (and your positive feedback indicates this was the correct path to take).
  • Why am I even mentioning this? Because of one aspect of the premise: I spent just under 10yrs after being saved (mid-forties) consuming accurate teachings along with a significant amount of false teachings, which left me very confused with a multitude of questions. As stated, it’s taken me 20yrs to delve into God’s teachings while being led by the Holy Spirit and transfer it all into six books to equip you and also for your edification. I’m in the 65+yrs age bracket and wish that these books would have been available to me from the onset! Why did it take God to call me and send me to do this? Because I could relate to the frustrations of a confusing Christian religion.

There’s been times that I wished I had been saved in my teens, but based on the events just mentioned, all this may never have come to fruition. God is good! God has a plan not just for me but for every Believer! That brings me to the other aspect of the premise: to provide this six book series to every Believer whether teen or thirties or fifties and for the babe or the mature, so that each and every one of you can learn these truths in a FRACTION of the time (initial read all six books – 1^st yr; while walking in the Spirit to understand the full breadth of teachings – 2^nd yr; Plan-Prepare-Execute it into fruition in having an abundant life – 3^rd yr). A three year or less plan!

• Vol4 even though the title “Prophetic Messages” seems as though the series is taking a different direction, it’s actually a continuation of Vol3 Advanced Teachings with topics never before covered in the prior four books; Although I did shift gears by discussing prophetic topics and delving into current issues in order to give warnings and to give comparison and contrast examples of issues as they pertain to biblical teachings. Another short read and intriguing with both the issues we’re faced with and with the uniqueness of the teachings.

I mentioned incredible journey and know in my heart that there’s much more to come. For my retired brethren, the same applies to you… Dream BIG with the help of the Holy Spirit and follow those dreams through to fruition, or up until the day that you’re called home; Having a truly abundant life on earth and Finish Strong!
